Mac release notes
A calmer, faster workspace
What changed in the Mac app, and how to install or update it without creating a second copy.
- Version
- 1.0.0
- Build
- 27
- Released
- October 25, 2026
What's in this release
Dash-Digital-1.0.0-27.dmg- The workspace now uses the Dash Digital design system throughout: IBM Plex type, off-white paper, ink interaction states, and restrained amber accents.
- A new Timeline view shows delivery dates across six months and keeps undated work visible instead of hiding it.
- Notion can be connected with the official sign-in or a Notion integration token. Choose the databases this app should read and change the mapping later in Settings.
- The workspace assistant now defaults to DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and supports OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic, and Ollama models using keys stored in the macOS Keychain.
- Assistant answers use a Muse-style reading layout with real headings, lists, tables, code, generous spacing, and copyable answers.
- The assistant can propose a new task or project. Nothing is created until you confirm the card, and the request still goes through the normal Notion permission and read-back checks.
- Assistant conversations are kept locally on this Mac so you can close the panel without losing the thread.
- A first-run setup guide connects Notion and the AI model in two steps, with a Setup guide available later in Settings.
- Settings includes a feedback link that opens a prefilled GitHub issue for bugs, confusing moments, and missing work.
- White-label builds remain isolated by brand: one bundle identity, Notion binding, Keychain namespace, cache, signing identity, and update feed per customer.
